I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, practicing in private practice in Louisville, Kentucky. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and a Relational Bodywork and Somatic Education Practitioner (BASE-P), specializing in trauma and its impact on the nervous system.

My approach to therapy is rooted in a simple but often overlooked truth: trauma is not just something we think about—it is something we carry. Much of my work focuses on helping clients shift out of patterns of overwhelm, shutdown, and disconnection by working directly with the body and nervous system, where these patterns live.

I value depth, pacing, and precision in the therapeutic process. Rather than pushing for insight alone, I help clients track their internal experience, build tolerance for sensation, and gradually restore a sense of safety from within. This work is often subtle, but it is also powerful—supporting changes that feel more lasting and embodied.

Over the years, I have developed a particular sensitivity to clients who feel stuck despite years of effort, or who find that traditional talk therapy has not fully reached the core of their experience. My role is to meet them there—with steadiness, respect, and a deep trust in the body’s capacity to heal when given the right conditions.
